"I used this ganache to fill a chocolate birthday cake (#2496. The cake was amazing. People commented specifically on how good the ganache was."

"This is one of the best cakes I've ever made. I made it for my daughter's birthday. I torted the layers, filled the cake with chocolate ganache (#37844, and decorated it with decorator buttercream frosting (#95416. The cake looked and tasted like it could have been made by a professional. Everyone loved it! I highly recommend this recipe."

"The flavors in this bread are amazing. I used mixed berries (frozen instead of blueberries. Wow. I will make this again. When making this for someone else, I follow the recipe. For myself, though, I use less sugar to lower the calorie count. The flavor is nice when you use less sugar, but the bread isn't as moist."

"Excellent, authentic cheesecake recipe. I made this for my husband's birthday, and he said that it reminded him of the New York style cheesecake of his youth (his mother is Italian and grew up near Arthur Avenue in the Bronx. I couldn't figure out how to remove the bottom of the springform pan without damaging the cake, so I just served it on the..."

"Very moist with wonderful flavors! I made this for my husband's birthday, and everyone loved it. I made 9-inch layers, which did dip a bit in the middle (I think because the carrots I used had a lot of moisture. The cake, once frosted and decorated with toasted coconut around the side, looked and tasted like it was made by a professional. I used ..."

"Very nice pancakes. I added a couple teaspoons of grated orange peel and fresh strawberries (goes great with Mimosas. Next time, I will omit the sugar because the outside of the pancakes were a bit more crisp than I prefer. Overall, they were wonderful pancakes. I will make this my standard recipe to use for Sunday morning breakfast."

"Very tasty and refreshing during the hot summer months when peaches come into season. I made a minor change to the recipe because I do not eat raw eggs. I whisked the eggs into the milk and cooked on low heat to 160 degrees. Next time, I will chop the peaches more finely (or possibly crush them after removing the juice because some of the pieces ..."

"Didn't have all ingredients on hand, so made some substitutions, but still turned out great! Substituted black pepper for white; substituted fresh oregano and thyme for tarragon; used 1 cup wine, 1 cup chicken broth, and 1/2 cup water in place of liquids; omitted bouillon cube; omitted peas; omitted parsley"

"This is a good basis for a very flavorful soup. I made the broccoli version, which has a subtle flavor that needs to be brought out a bit more. Asparagus would be a good addition as another reviewer suggested. I'd try roasting the broccoli before simmering."
