    About Me

    My husband and I live in a small rural community in southeastern Michigan. I am a secretary in the central office of a public school district. We have 2 grown children--our daughter, son-in-law, and 2 grandsons live about 30 miles from us. Our son and daughter-in-law live in Pennsylvania.

    Favorite Foods

    I've enjoyed searching all around on Recipezaar for wonderful recipes. The Community Cafe is one of my favorite areas to explore and read all the questions and answers from other members.

    I don't consider myself a great cook and hope that one day I will become a better cook and be able to impress others with my cooking skills. I feel like such a rookie after reading everyone's "exciting" recipes and seeing the impressive pictures of their dishes. I have only been cooking for about 38 years, you know, and still have a lot to learn. :)
