Reviewed Kick A%% Fried Onion Rings

"5-star for sure! The light, crispy batter is seasoned perfectly. For those having issues with the batter falling off ... I put the rings in a bag of plain flour and shook to dust them, then the batter, then the seasoned flour. No problem with anything falling off then. I also cut the onions and put them in the fridge to 'sweat' for a few hours..."

"I thought the bread itself is very good. I'm thinking of trying to use it to make some sub rolls ... nice texture and a crisp crust. I'm only giving it 3 stars due to the instructions ... people should always follow the bread machine's manufacturer's instructions on the order in which ingredients should be added. Karin probably had a Panasonic ..."

"Right out of the BH&G cookbook, but still a great recipe. I've been making this for years and always add cheese when the soup is reheating."

"It looks like I'm in the minority here, but no one in my family cared for this. We found it very bland even with the good cheddar cheese. Also very thick and gloppy. Many other recipes that are much better in my opinion."

"Definitely a 5 star recipe. The only substitution that I made was the mayo ... we don't care for real mayo so I only have Miracle Whip on hand. Had fresh dill from the garden. Very easy to put together and great instructions. Oh, one other thing I did do was sprinkle a few bread crumbs on top before I put it under the broiler ... just a little..."

"Anyone who like key lime cannot say this is terrible ... it's a great dessert. I could only find the low fat yogurt in French Vanilla and it worked fine. I also used Nellie & Joe's key lime juice. The only thing I'll do differently next time is to split it up into two batches .. I have a 1 1/2 qt. ice cream maker and it was just a little too mu..."

"I have to admit I had my doubts about mustard on the fish, but it was wonderful. No 'mustardy' taste at all. The only complaint I had was the breading not wantint to adhere like I thought it should ... probably a technique problem on the chef's behalf :-. Quick and easy ... will defnitely make again."

"Another winner from Mirj. When I saw that the recipe was from Mirj, I had no doubt it would be great ... and we were not disappointed. We had a 'meat fest' cookout today and everyone loved the wings. I let them marinate for about 24 hours and the flavor was just outstanding. Great job, Mirj, and thanks!"

"Awesome, outstanding, dy-no-mite ... not enough adjectives for this rub. I bought some beef ribs to go with our 'meat fest' BBQ today (Father's Day. I applied the rub approximately 18 to 20 hours before cooking then I cooked them ..."
