    About Me

    I live with my husband near Seattle. I'm a college advisor, a Mac geek, a Deadhead, and a fat activist. I love to mess around (and make a mess) in the kitchen--there isn't much that I don't like to cook. My pie crust is getting almost as good as my mother's, and that's saying something!

    Favorite Foods

    It would be easier to list the ones I don't like! I love strong flavors and spicy things. I make a lot of chicken and pork dishes because that's what DH and I like most. In the summer we do a lot of grilling, and occasionally we fire up the smoker. I love to bake, especially pies. I've just started getting into canning, with mixed results, but I'm getting better at it!
