    My Journal

I have no recent activity to share.

    About Me

In October of 2004 I moved from Florida to Upstate New York. I am a retired Interior Designer originally from the UK (London) with lots of time on my hands. I knew it would be cold up here as I have lived in the North before. However, this is going a bit too far. I have been doing a lot of cooking from scratch since it is too cold to go out much and I have chosen all my recipes from your site.(If I gain weight I know where to put the blame) I really appreciate all the people that are kind enough to post their recipes. Saves me a lot of money since I am now on a fixed income. Thank You.

    Favorite Foods

I don't have a favourite dish YET? I just love to experiment. My friends and family used to love my meat pie. (I will post that later)
I am usually disappointed in restaurants lately because all food seems to be over salted and seems as if no care has been taken. I love to eat at home. I set a table with a nice centerpiece and use candles and ALWAYS sit down for dinner. Other meals can be on the run but not dinner. This is how I unwind.
