Reviewed Roasted Pears with Brown Sugar and Vanilla Ice Cream

"this tasted great, but instead of serving it with ice cream, which i didn't have, i served it with 1/4 cup of whipping cream whipped with 1/4 cup of mascarpone and 2 tablespoons of sugar and a little vanilla. i also only had light brown sugar, so for that molasses taste, i drizzled the tiniest bit of molasses over the pears during roasting. our gu ..."

"This is my dad's all time favorite lunchbox treat. He just devours this cake. I got this recipe from her book Barefoot Contessa Parties! but she also has a version in the Barefoot Contessa Family Style, only with oranges. Same amount of zest and juice, only with oranges. Both delectable"

"This was a great recipe, never thought of turkey in lasagna. My dad needs to watch his cholesterol so it was a perfect idea. I didn't have any basil around, so instead I pust in some dried oregano to my liking. The goat cheese was a great touch and the tomato sauce was excellent. THe presoaking of the noodles worked well too."

"I actualy used this recipe from her book, I own all three, and we loved it. I don't know how it is on it's own, because we had a hit of white vermouth, a dry white wine, when making the sauce, which probably adds a lot of flavor. THe parmesan and pine nuts are a must"

The challah is a must, it is an egg bread and delicious. The orange zest adds just the right punch. This has been a family favorite. The challah can be frozen and defrosted in ..."
