"In 2003 I wrote this review, "I added bacon to make it more of a cream-style carbonara and it was fabulous! Served it over spagetti with garlic bread - Yum!"

In 2010, I happened upon the same recipe and made it again this time adding 1/2 a frozen package of creamed spinach to make it more of a Florentine and again - YUM! :"

"If I could give 10 stars I would - I LOVE this recipe! Delicious : Made them for friends and they loved them too! I increase cream of tartar to 1/4 tsp (stiffer peaks and frequently skip the vanilla. I also have to have my oven more like 225 degrees, or to have them more solid (vs crisp outside and slightly soft inside, preheat your oven to ..."

"Delicious! After reading reviews I was concerned about it being too thick and cut the cooking time short a bit... I wish I hadn't. But still it was VERY good and easy to make. I did use it on a cake made from a mix but you wouldn't know - it's was wonderful - the homemade icing made all the difference! I did find this to be enough to ice a 9x13" ..."

"I followed Bobbie's suggestion and made this using whatever I had on hand and it was delish! I also didn't have access to grill to get the top, so I flipped it into a buttered skillet instead to brown the top. Made it not quite as pretty, but very yummy : I shared a picture if you want to see it."

"Simple and delicious! I used the almond extract and did some with a dab of strawberry jelly in the middle. Both were yummy! I did overcook one batch and I agree... you don't want to do that! LOL : Definitely a keeper recipe."

"Not being a nut fan and being a HUGE ice cream fan, I was skeptical to say the least - but this stuff won me over! I'm not saying it tastes exactly like ice cream - but for being a raw substitute I must say it was really delightful : I am personally a fan of the chocolate version... may I suggest doing a double batch because it is tastey enough y..."

It was wonderful - and the leftov..."

"This was wonderful! I used 2 large potatoes and 1 large onion. I switched 2-3 tbsp olive oil for margarine and that worked fine. And I added Lawry's seasoning. I used the full 15 min cook time. I also tried pouring the finished mixture on a cookie sheet and browning it slightly - since I like that taste. I uploaded pictures both ways. Eithe..."
