"I've been making wedding cakes for 6 years and this is by far the best buttercreme recipe I have come by. I will use this now exclusively. I used the butter and the icing did come out a soft ivory color , if I need a bright white I will use all shortening and more clear butter extract to make up for the flavor. Thanks for posting !"
