    My Journal

I have no recent activity to share.

    About Me

I love to cook, a lot. I like to play with recipes and work them to meet my tastebuds. I'm also pretty obsessed with ways to make food more healthful and flavorful at the same time.

I work full time with youths with trauma histories.  I love what I do, but it can take a toll on your psyche.  To help with that, I play with my cats, read a lot, and cook.  I have a struggle with my family because they are not adventurous when it comes to food.  But it makes it all the more fun!

    Favorite Foods

My favorite cuisine to cook is Italian or Southwestern. My favorite to eat is Japanese. I haven't mastered Japanese yet, but that doesn't mean I won't! I love Thai, Indian, and pretty much all Middle Eastern foods. I love German, but German doesn't love me!!!

My most popular dish is probably my Balsamic Chicken Rissotto. Although, my cinnamon pork tenderloin always gets raves.
