    About Me

    The most important thing to me is my family. My husband and I have 5 grandchildren 2 boys and 3 girls (hoping for more), 1 daughter, 3 sons, 1 son in law, and 1 daughter in law. I am blessed to still have both my mom and dad and my husbands mom. And of course our extended family and friends. My husband is from an Italian family, so every family occasion has a lot of time and consideration in the type of food to be served. One of our sons is a chef and he brings a lot of creative and delicious new dishes to the table.

    Favorite Foods

    Being from the southeast I have developed a deep love of Mexican food. It is my favorite and I could eat it every day. However my family does not share the frequency for it that I do. We tend to like the comfort foods, but we do like to try new things. One of the dishes most requested by my family is roast spaghetti. I'm also known for my baked beans and birthday cakes. That being said, I do try to count calories and watch fat content. My husband is a diabetic so that is a consideration also. As a family we are trying to eat healthy.
