    About Me

I've always liked to cook, but didn't get serious about it until I had conjestive heart failure a couple years ago. My doctor put me on a low sodium/low cholesterol diet and I found that most of the foods I used to love, I could no longer have. I had to learn how to prepare meals using fresh foods instead of canned or boxed, and how to make foods taste good without using salt. This site has been a huge help in that aspect.

    Favorite Foods

I enjoy stir fry, almost anything baked. I often cook using cast iron, My cast iron dutch oven is My favorite cooking utensil.
