    About Me

I live in Maryland and I am a kindergarten teacher. I love to cook all kinds of food and my new passion is canning. I started two years ago when I finally had a summer off and now that is what I do with most of my vacation time in July and August. I would love to receive more unique canning recipes. I am trying small batches on my family to see which we like the best. I am a newly wed(not the first time) and a soon to be grandmother. I catered my own wedding for 180 people( I did all the cooking) and it turned out great.I have thought of catering when I retire and love to throw a good party.

    Favorite Foods

I love all foods. There is actually nothing that I do not like to eat. My favorites are all types of seafood and fresh vegetables.I also like to cook on the grill and that is my main way of cooking during the warm months.I don't know what to say is my most famous dish.I have several in different catagories. I make a wonderful crab dip, an excellent chicken lombardy, a grandmother good fried chicken, and good crab cakes. I like a restaurant with a varied menu with things I will not cook for my family. Many times we are disappointed in restaurants because of the variety of dishes I cook at home and the quality of the food.
