    Reviewed Perfectly Seasoned Taco Meat

"Tastes great! Added 1 tsp cumin plus a small can of tomato sauce along with a 1/4 cup water and let simmer...mmmm!"

    Reviewed Creamed Spinach

"This was delicious! Only thing I did was the reduce the chili flakes to 1 tsp and that was still too hot for my kids so will reduce further next time. Truly worth making this dish again and again...mmmm!"

    Reviewed Orange Baked Ham

"Dynamite! My family loved this! Only addition I made was to add some freshly chopped sage. I used a spiral honey ham and it worked out beautifully. Didn't use salt anywhere as the ham itself is quite salty..gotta watch that cholesterol!! Thanks, Ina!! Will surely make this again! "

Reviewed Erwtensoep - Dutch Pea Soup

"Excellent! Being married to a Dutchman and having lived in the Netherlands, adding a carrot and potato is essential. There are many variations to this recipe. I used a thick slice of European bacon from the deli which works out perfect. Will make this again."

Reviewed Fregola Salad with Broccoli and Cipollini Onions

"I found the Fregola at our local specialty foods store, Grecos in Surrey, BC. This recipe was fantastic and esp enjoyed when warm. I made no changes as I wanted to try the real recipe first and don't think I would change a thing other then perhaps add a bit more parm. ""

Reviewed Linguine with Avocado and Arugula Pesto

"Tasty! I did about 2 cups arugula and about 1.5 cups of spinach and followed the rest of the recipe except added a bit of olive oil to the sauce. So healthy and will definitely make again.""

    Reviewed Turkey Taco Mac

"This was quite tasty. I had leftover chicken taco filling (about a cup) so used that up. Also added a handful of mozza into the pasta mixture and the sour cream. I'd surely make this again.

People also need to lay off Sandra. Go to another page if you can't appreciate what she's about...fast and easy cooking. "

    Reviewed Black Bean Brownies

"This is what I did. I wanted something wheat free so used an entire 19 oz can of black beans (rinsed well) and pureed in food processor. Added 3 eggs and 1/3 cup of canola oil and vanilla. In separate bowl, sifted 2/3 cup sugar and the instant coffee, 1.5 tsp baking powder and cocoa (I used 1/2 cup good quality cocoa (the darker the better). Added dark chocolate chips in the batter and some for the top and these were superb! My family devoured them in 1 day!! "
