"I love the Cappy Sauce at Capitol Lunch in New Britain. I'm thinking that there is a little sugar in the sauce, perhaps brown sugar, because there is a sweetness to the sauce. Perhaps less chili powder because it doesn't really have a bite to it. Not sure, but that's what I think."

"I will use canned RED salmon. I used pink and didn't care for it, not did my family. I think it is a good recipe, but red salmon is a must."

"Fabulous recipe. I think I have been making this for about 20 years now. We all love it.I substitute apricots for the prunes; or, sometimes I do HALF apricots and HALF prunes. "This is delicious. I doubled the recipe, added kosher salt and served it over home made pasta. A little lighter on the olive oil. Awesome!"

"Somebody else commented that KOSHER SALT is NOT AS SALTY as regular salt. There's a big difference. If you use the same amount of table salt in place of kosher, it will be way too salty.

I added curry to this salad and it really zipped the flavor up nicely. Grapes and curry are always a nice combination."
