    About Me

A childhood yearly duty of handling all the holiday cookie baking combined with a need to feed people has turned cooking into my hobby. I'm a full-time working divorcee with a picky-eater preschooler at home so mealtimes can be a challenge (Annabel Karmel has been a god-send). I am constantly picking up clearance cookbooks at book stores--I have easily two dozen stacking up. My current fav is the Little House Cookbook--nostalgia and yumminess all at once.

    Favorite Foods

Not fancy (though I've tried) in my abilities, I tend to stick to easy, comfort foods that my daughter and I can prepare together such as Stew, Chicken Pot Pie, Apple Pie, Lasagna or anything else pasta-based. I have a habit of ignoring important recipe directions (it turns out that it is very important to let the bundt cake cool before you flip it!) but love the adventure of trying out anything new. When I get a chance to get out, I adore sushi.
