I have always loved every recipe by Julia Child. Yes I know it's rather outdated, but I never had a recipe of hers that didn't turn out superb.
My favourite pieces of equipment are the NuWave Oven and the Flavorwave Oven, both great and I tend to adapt most recipes to them.
Unfortunately, Jack & I were gastric banded Oct 2008 as my darling had to lose weight before heart surgery.
Had the surgery (Oct 2008 and it must be the best thing I have ever done..Lost over 30 Kilos and never felt better.
The only downside is that, from being a real foodie,(stffed myself with goodies I now can't eat so much and some foods are totally out for me. Oh well, I still get to bake for my bridge pals....
I guess that I will be investigating recipes for life after that procedure.
