"Sorry this is not the best spaghetti sauce you 'bout ever put in your mouth. Tried this because it seemed simple, with few ingredients and we were in a hurry. Quite tasteless even with a great locally smoked bacon. Definitely will not make this again."

"Very good bread, nice and moist. The only change I made was to substitute oil for the margarine which I prefer not to use. Next time I will use butter and suspect it will rise a little more than with oil. I prefer nuts in banana bread so I used pecans. Will definitely make this again. Try it you - won't be disappointed!!"

"Not outstanding but certainly better than canned soup. Followed the recipe but increased the mushrooms to 12 ounces. This is definitely not 6 servings to me. There are only 3 cups of liquid so if divided 6 ways it would mean very small portions. If I make this again I would double it."

"Great recipe. I am a Food Network junkie and recently saw a Diners, Drive-ins and Dives episode where Guy tried cornmeal pancakes. He commented how great they were, moist on inside but with the crunch of the cornmeal. When I saw this recipe I had to try it...I love molasses. "This was just OK for me but has potential. The only change I made was to substitute evaporated milk for the cream. Found it to quite bland so next time I will play around with the spices. Red pepper flakes for one comes to mind. May try roasting or grilling the veggies separately as well. Thanks NoSpringChicken this does have potential."

"Sorry but unlike other Moosewood recipes I have tried this one is not for me. A fair bit of work for a less than average pasta dish. I used a quality wine, very thin fresh asparagus and mini bella mushrooms. Even with these quality ingredients the dish was very bland and honestly quite disappointing.
