"Did not have bread crumbs in pantry. So crumbled Triscuit crackers. Otherwise, followed the recipe. Delicious! Thanks for posting the recipe."
"Perfect meal for leftover turkey from a Sunday meal. Substituted celery for the green pepper and used whole wheat thin spaghetti. Also used fresh mushrooms pieces. Thank you for posting recipe. Served with green salad and grain bread."
"Excellent recipe.. The only modification were substituted 4 ounces of frozen baby sweet peas for mushrooms, used 2 5 -ounce cans of Chunlight tuna in water, and crumbled a couple handfuls of Ritz crackers to the topping. The diced celery plus diced onions really add to the flavor. A keeper. Thanks for sharing the recipe"
"Simply amazing flavor. My pickiest soup eater noted it was delicious. First time I've used fresh basil in recipe - wow! Did chop 2 celery stalks and also diced 1/2 onion which I added at the beginning to the soup. Thank you for posting the recipe."
"Delicious soup. Since I knew that I wanted leftovers for work, I added another cup of water, and proportionately increased the veggies in the soup. Like others, I added 1/2 cup of red wine. Also, this recipe allowed me to sneak in some spinach into a meal to unsuspecting parties who just devoured the soup. Thank you for the recipe!"
"Very easy and tasty recipe to follow. Did 1lb shrimp and 1lb chicken fillets (cut in bite size pieces). Added okra. Also added crushed red pepper flakes (1/8 tsp) plus 4 drops of tabasco sauce like some have suggested. Served over white rice in a bowl. Next time, I'll try 1lb shrimp and 1lb sausage combo. Good accompanied by sweet tea or cold..."
"Delicious week day meal. The only changes like others were a can of Rotel tomatoes with chilies added to the drained meat (ground turkey) plus only used 4 large flour tortillas. College fershman daughter remarked it was like a 7 layer burrito in a casserole as she was going back for a second helping. Thanks for the recipe."
"Tandy is the word. Wife exclaimed "It's a keeper, put it in the recipe book". Substituted 14.5 oz can of diced tomatoes for the 5 whole canned tomatoes. Thank you for the recipe."
"Awesome recipe. Had 6 thick large pork chops. Due to size, my cooking time was about 1 minute longer per side. My wife declared the best pork chops ever served in our household. Also any easy weekday recipe. Let chops marinate for 1 hour. Thank you for the recipe!"
