"I found smoked paprika in our local supermarket's bulk section. I used this chili powder for this recipe from Taste of Home: http://www.tasteofhome.com/Recipes/Rainbow-Vegetable-Skillet

The recipe worked really well. I had a Hubbard squash the size of a basketball, and the recipe tasted really good. I have noted the observation abou..."

"Mr JB loves his Sweet Tea, and says that tea without sugar is "unfulfilled". Unfortunately, he can't have black tea or a lot of sugar anymore. This recipe works well for him as iced tea, provided I substitute a tablespoon of honey for all that sugar. Gives it just enough sweet to notice. Will have to increase my mint crop to meet demand."

"Made this recipe with a kitchen full of Chinese scholars a few weeks ago, and again today. I especially like the idea of using oatmeal in this recipe. The Chinese students don't enjoy super-sweet (last year, one student politely asked if she could scrape the frosting off a cake. The oatmeal offset some of the sweetness."

"It's mid-March and I don't have any fresh herbs. I used 1/2 tsp dried lavender, 1 tsp dried mint, and 1 tsp dried lemon balm in a two-cup teapot. The combination worked nicely. I suggest using a very fine mesh strainer or filter paper if using dried herbs; using an ordinary tea ball, I got floaters."

"The idea is great. The recipe needs some editing. The ingredients list says "5 Tbsp water", the directions say "2 Tbsp".The first batch came out fine; my second batch of dough didn't quite work for some reason. Any suggestions for getting the circles into the pan without making a mess would be appreciated. In honor of Pi Day (celebrated 3.14 a..."

"I used this recipe as a starting point as I learned to make smoothies. It really tastes good, and it's an easy base to experiment from. It works with strawberries, bananas, raspberries too. I only make one serving at a time, because Youngest Son likes a 2:1 ratio juice to yogurt, and I like a 2:1 ratio yogurt to juice."

"This is a good idea. I'd suggest a small bunch of cilantro, not a big one; maybe even half a bunch; and some lime mixed in with it.Youngest Daughter followed the recipe and did the work. There are some things we both need to learn about grilling fish, but this was a good beginner's recipe."

"I took a hint from other reviewers and stir-fried the vegetables instead of microwaving. In my experience, microwaving makes stir-fry vegetables soggy.I had a 12 ox pkg of Roland organic udon, and the noodle-to-veggie ratio was too high for me, even though I'd added in some leftover Chinese asparagus to the bells and peapods. "Can we double check the proportions? This packs a wallop. I used my kitchen scale and made a half recipe using what I thought was 40 grams of ginger. Youngest Son and I finished ours, but I added water. Youngest Daughter couldn't touch it; and Mr. JB, who usually likes food with Authority, found it too powerful for him."
