    About Me

I am a high school student and I enjoy cooking and baking immensely from time to time, when I'm not busy with school. I also like to tap dance and I'm interested in Astrology, Riverdance, vampires, and Ilia Kulik (a Russian figure skater).

    Favorite Foods

I absolutely love sushi, seaweed salad, tofu, and many other Asian foods, Thai and Japanese dishes in particular. I find the extremes they go to for food presentation in Japan truly beautiful - so different than America or Europe. My favorite meal is actually breakfast, though, because it's so energizing and I can appreciate good breads.
I am vegetarian, so of course, fruits and vegetables are some of my staples. I can't tear myself away from honeydews, plums, carrots, spinach and corn.
My parents always tease me about putting extra nutmeg in practically everything because I like it so much. I don't believe I could live without spicy foods either, since I've been raised with Southwest cooking (How do people eat herbless, spiceless, bland meals anyway?)I believe that's why it's so easy for me to embrace oriental food with all of its sensational tastes and fiery ginger and chilis.
