     |  By Kittencalskitchen

"This is the best frosting I've made, and I love making frosting for cakes and cupcakes. It's so smooth and satiny, and really sweet. It doesn't leave a powdered sugar aftertaste, and the medium amount- 1/2 c cocoa- worked great.Taking this to a friends' place for a pre-baby chocolate fest for her, but I snagged two already! Delish! I used on ..."

"I have my own cookie recipe, but I don't have any icing recipes I like. This one worked perfectly, and my boyfriend had trouble keeping his hands out of the icing! Afterward he was "sugared out". I liked them too, but I have more restraint than him! Thanks kitten, for another good recipe :"

"I have a family recipe I usually use, but the reviews for this one were so outstanding, I had to try- I'm glad I did. This is officially my new banana bread recipe! I added some vanilla and baked in mini-pans to put in goodie baskets. I just ate a whole mini-pan myself! I did three mini loaves with walnuts and three without. FANTASTIC! Thank..."

"I'm giving this 4 stars because I didn't really like it- but everyone else did. I made this for my mom's christmas brunch and needed a recipe that didn't use oil because I was out. I colored the biscotti red and dipped in green white chocolate. They looked pretty and tasted okay, but everyone else was impressed and took it home. It's the first..."

"Delish! I've made these several times and didn't review, but they're delicious. I prefer them with dark chocolate chips. I've used with vanilla-flavored kahlua and homemade kahlua- delish both times! Thanks Kittencal, your recipes are great."

"These are great! I layered on the butter, adding a little bit of sugar in with the butter I brushed on after baking. I used these as dinner rolls with steak and salad, and tomorrow I'm cutting them in half and stuffing with cheese and deli meat for sandwiches. I can't say enough good things about these rolls. I accidentally didn't let them ris..."

"These were pretty good but my microwave overheated for some reason and had to put them in the oven- five stars for the batch that came from the microwave, but not really so great from the oven. I'll make again when I don't have a cheap microwave and live in an apartment with stupid wiring :"

"My grandma used to make delicious potato patties but she died when I was a teenager so I never got the recipe(was too busy chasing boys to cook lol but these are spot-on to what I remember. I changed it a little because I don't remember her using very much onion- I used less and a little more potato than recommended. This recipe was fantastic!"

"Very good cookies; made as a "cookie card" for my nephew...because why get an 8 yr old a card? They were good but a little bit dry. I rolled more out later and found that they're better if rolled thick and cooked only until set. They worked for what I wanted, but I wanted a fluffier texture; but these were a good butter sugar cookie. Thanks!"
