"I wanted to rate this recipe 4 1/2 stars, but can't. The only problem I have with it is that it has too much butter and, as a result, it seeps out during baking. Otherwise, it is great. I actually left it a few days in the refrigerator, ended up freezing, defrosted it and it baked perfectly. Thanks for sharing such a great--AND easy!--recipe..."

I attended many of these parties in my life and never heard that Brazilians believe the saints protect corn or green bean harvests. Remember: at the time we have this party, it is winter in Brazil, so, no crops! We celebrate by making a large bonfire and people jump over...."
