I've been living in Thailand for the past seven years. The food here is wonderful and its a great temptation not to cook because the food is really cheap.
But the markets are so chokka full with wonderful fresh fruit, veggies, fish and meat, it seems a shame not to experiment, so this is what I'm doing now.
But where do I start? that's how I came to find this lovely website and I intend using it a lot.
I've just bought a pressure cooker and its brilliant for foods like chick peas and pulses.
Italian and French foods with lots of cheese and cream!
Asian food with all the wonderful spices, veggies and fresh ingredients.
Lemon meringue pie!!

"Curried chick peas cooked in the pressure cooker.
A Sri Lankan friend taught me this recipe and we often take it on picnics - it's very filling. It makes a wonderful snack or part of a main meal. It has a nutty, crunchy flavour that people love and is a firm favourite amongst our vegetarian friends.."
