I'm a vegetarian. My husband and stepdaughter are not. I only cook vegetarian for them, but have had to scale back on the "weird" stuff--i.e., no nutritional yeast, no tofu in desserts, etc. I try to focus on nutrient-dense food but will occasionally splurge on something rich, decadent, and oh-so-bad for you.
I make a mean orange bbq tofu, but not very often because it's more labor intensive than I usually have the patience for. Inspired by Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution, I have been forcing my stepdaughter to help with meals and she makes a southwest chopped salad that makes me squeal. In a good way. I'm also a huge fan of the Stoli martini. It has olives in it so it counts as food, right?
