    Reviewed Wings 3 Ways

"I am rating only the sauces, since that is all I made from this recipe. I made the hot butter sauce and the honey bbq. They were both FABULOUS and as good as anything you would get in a restaurant. For the hot sauce, I didn't have fresh basil so I just sprinkled in some dried basil and left it in there - worked great. I also used lemon juice from a bottle, and you'd never know it. For the honey bbq sauce, I used regular honey because that is what I had, and I didn't use any turmeric because I didn't have any. Didn't matter - they were both delicious and keepers in our house!"

    Reviewed Cider-Brined Fried Chicken

"I am rating the breading recipe/method only since I used it on chicken legs to fry up and make wings with Sunny's wings 3 ways sauce. I did want to say I really liked the flavoring being in the egg mixture instead of the coating. It seems to really flavor the chicken. Letting it rest for 10 minutes also worked great! My coating only fell off where I shoved it off when my tongs slipped while turning the chicken. It tasted great and got nice and crispy!"

    About Me

I like to try new things and cook, and my husband is a great guinea pig as long as I used his approved ingredients (no onions or other veggies besides corn, no beans, etc.).  I also use a lot of shortcuts since I work full-time and commute 45 minutes each way...it makes getting dinner on the table a hassle at times!

I also love to play volleyball, read, garden, and work on home improvement projects!

    Favorite Foods

I like to bake more than cook, but I have a couple specialties across the board: cinnamon rolls, sloppy joe casserole, and introducing my husband to frozen meatballs to jazz up spaghetti - yay!
