    About Me

I live in Middle Tennessee, USA. I am Southern born and bred, and I typically cook Southern, although I love to try most anything. I catered for several years, but these days I mostly just cater for friends. I am married (for 16 years) and I have four children. Andrew is 11, Connor is 9, Grant is 7, and Grace Elizabeth is 2. I work, full-time, as a human resources vice-manager for a medium-sized manufacturing plant. I plan to start back to school in the fall of '07 to work on a master's degree in history. I love to read. My three favorite cookbooks are 1) a cookbook that my only cousin on my Mother's side compiled and gave each of us, containing family recipes, 2) a cookbook one of my female cousins on my Daddy's side (one of 45) compiled and gave each of us, also containing family recipes, and 3) a cookbook put together at a very small Methodist church we attended when we lived in Alabama....man, could those women cook!! lol

    Favorite Foods

My favorite food is probably bread. If I had to live on only one food, that would be my choice. But I love Italian and Mexican, and a wide variety of other kinds of dishes, too. I also looooooove pizza. I guess I'm famous for several dishes. My lasagna usually gets rave reviews. My cakes and brownies are pretty famous among my crew. I make great dressing. I'm pretty good with most desserts.
