I was born in Louisiana, raised for a while in Texas and then finished my education and some college courses in California. I am happily married and live in a suburb of Seattle, Washington. I have two adorable Jack Russell Terriers.
I am a manager for an industrial refrigeration company and love my work. This is my 16th year and plan to retire in the next few years,
I developed my passion for cooking from my French mother and German father. I love to cook for people and surprise their tastebuds. Cooking for crowds - no problem. A quiet dinner for two - my specialty!
I consider myself an experienced chef. I have cooked professionally for a few restaurants around the country. My tastes are varied - spicy a must. Seafood is number one! Cajun, Mexican, Thai, French, Carribean and African foods are a few of my favorite. And I will never turn down a well cooked ribeye steak!
My barbequed ribs and salmon are my two dishes that people want over and over again! Both are smoked and cooked slowly to perfection.
Cafe Juanita in Kirkland is one of my favorite restaurants. The menu changes daily and is written on a chalk board.
