My first experiences with cooking began as a young child; I would guess I was about 9. Peanut butter bars were my specialty; I must have made them once a month. I often "let" my little sister help in the kitchen. My job was to sit on the counter & give out the orders. Her job was to retrieve mixing bowls & ingredients & hand them to me so I could put them in. Every once in awhile I would let her crack an egg or mix something in! I'm not sure why she holds this over my head; I did let her help me!
I work full time in a hospital admitting department. Although I like my job my heart is at home. In my spare moments at work I'll be thinking of what I'm going to cook next.
I don't have any of my own recipes added, yet. I hope to start adding them someday. As of yet, I just haven't seemed to make the time for it.
After reading other Zaar member pages about their "rating system" I thought I would update & let anyone who cares to know how I come up with my ratings. It is very SIMPLE; if I love it I will give it a 5; if I like it I will give it a 4. If I feel something is a 3 I probably wouldn't bother to make again since there are so many fantastic recipes out there. Anything I feel is a 3 or under I will delete it and not repeat it! I just can't bear to criticize what someone else may like. So only nice reviews from me.
I'll start with food I hate; I can get this over quick. MUSHROOMS, UGH & EWW!
I love pasta, pasta & more pasta. I'm not a big eater, but if I make chicken alfredo I can eat it until I'm sick. Fortunately I don't indulge very often!
My favorite restaurant is Cheesecake Factory. I love having so many different menu options.
