"Added garlic powder as other reviewers did. The skin was a beautiful colour and very crispy just the way we like it. The chicken was very moist and the butter added a sweetness to it. A very rich recipe that will be made again. Thanks!"

"Made this recipe for our Thanksgiving dinner. I used one rutabaga and one squash. I also added a little brown sugar & 3 pieces of crispy bacon crumbled. Added the caramelized onions & put in a casserole dish ahead of time and re-heated as the turkey was being carved. Everyone loved it!Thanks."

I believe the brandy is a must. It adds a depth of flavour which turns a good pasta dish into a great one!!! Thanks for posting."

Tried pink lemonade for colour however for the amount used it really did not do anything so yellow would be just fine. The can of sweetened condensed milk at least here is sold at 300ml or 10 ..."

"Just rubbed the chicken with oil & used lemon-pepper seasoning + garlic powder. I did follow the cooking method of this recipe. Cooked mine longer because it was bigger and the result was a crispy chicken on the outside & a very moist chicken on the inside. I was impressed that I could actually cook a whole chicken on a weekday after work and sti..."

"Made this for DD as she loves shrimp. Since I'm not such a fan we usually only have it at Christmas which consists of a shrimp ring & cocktail sauce. Well, I will now be trying a few more recipes as this was delicious! Did not have vermouth so I added a little extra broth & a couple splashes of white wine, this was my only substitution. Thanks, we..."
