    About Me

Iam a german native, living in 'beautiful' Florence, Arizona now.(Just kidding, it's not beautiful, it's a prison town ;-)
I used to hate to cook, but it's slowly turning into one of my hobbies. I also enjoy surfing the internet, esoteric and listening to music. I'm married, no kids. Only a dog named Niko. Ahh, that explains the name ;-)

    Favorite Foods

My favorite food is, of course german food. But I also love spicy food, like Chili. Love greek and turkish dishes. Everything that's different from your everyday kinda food. I do like to clear up some misconceptions about german cuisine, though ;-) No, we don't eat sauerkraut and sausages every day. Or even 'warm' potato salad with 'warm' beer. Never heard of it til I came to the states. We have a great range of different foods. Just wanted to share my thoughts on that.

My favorite restaurant is called 'Adria', where I don't get to go often, since it's in Germany. I also like 'The Bavarian Point' in Mesa, Az, which serves authentic german food.
