Reviewed No-Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookies
"Excellent No-Bake cookies. Loved the extra coco in these. They went together so easily. I used honey roast crunchy peanut butter that I think added a lot of flavor. I used 1/2 sugar and 1/2 brown sugar and 2% milk as well as Smart Balance butter to help with the calories. I'll absolutely make these again. My Grandkids will love these. Thanks..."

Reviewed Easy French Onion Soup
"Very good and so easy to put together. The only thing I would do differently next time is leave out the Worcestershire sauce. I just didn't care for it in this soup. Other than that we loved it. Thanks for sharing. Made for "The Love Train" event 2012"

Reviewed Veggie Quesadilla
"This was really good and has so many possibilities. I used red and yellow peppers and red onion that I sliced and saute a little before adding to the Tortilla. I didn't have the salsa ranch dressing so added a little ranch and a little salsa which worked well but would add a little more next time. I used sharp cheddar cheese with a little prames..."

I live in the mountains of central Arkansas. I work as a Nurse Consultant/Nurse Paralegal and commute to work every week which gives me the time to spend with my kids and family.
We have 5 dogs, 2 JackRats named Dink and Rucky, Lucy, a Bloodhound-Redbone mix, Ruby, a bloodhound, and Lilly, a chocolate lab. My husband and I are very out-door people and love to walk and ride 4-wheelers around our land with our dogs. We also love to fish and hunt. (Well not so much me on the hunting). Our favorite pass time in the evening is playing washer boards with our friends and neighbors, or usually just the two of us.
I tried to clean up some of the banners that had disappeared in March 09 and everything disappeared. So we're starting fresh in April 09. I participated in 2 or 3 ZWT as well as I think most of the PAC Events, a couple of the RSC events and several swaps. But that is history and it starts all over now.

We love grilling fish, steakes and fresh veggies during the summer. Give me beans and cornbread or a big pot of chili during the winter and I'm happy. After this last WT game, I have decided I love Asian cooking and am playing around with that right now. I just learned how to make bread over the past year or so and really enjoy experimenting with different recipe, including sourdough recipes, which my friend Paula G introduced me to with her no failproof sourdough starter. We are pretty open to just about everything, except seafood with those little suction things on them. lol
