"I made the recipe exactly as stated (including freezer time and my family devoured it. It did take about 1 hour 15 minutes in the oven. I thought it was moist and delicious but lacking a little something. I don't know what I would add however, since any spices would seem to make it a glorified banana bread. "In the last three weeks, I have made three batches of these cookies. They are so delicious! I use dark cocoa powder and in place of unsweetened chocolate I use 70% Dark Chocolate squares. So yummy!"
