    "Ok, I just gotta clear a couple of things up here. I have lived in New Orleans for most of my life and a traditional muffuletta has NEVER included pastrami or venison!     "This is really very good, and so easy! I used frozen, locally made tamales and followed the recipe exactly, except for adding more cheese on top. We also sprinkled each serving with chopped raw onion. We liked it much better than the usual tamale casseroles made with chili. Will definitely make this again!

    "Well, whether this is an authentic recipe or not, this stuff is da bomb! Followed the recipe exactly, except for adding a little salt. Also took another reviewer's advice and used a zinfandel wine, which was an excellent suggestion. DH and I both loved it and agreed that it could become highly addictive!"
