    Reviewed Must-Have Salad

     |  (1 person found this helpful) |  By katie in the UP

"I'm in love with this salad, I could seriously make an entire meal out of just this! I mixed my dressing in my food processor, so the onion was pretty much pureed, but the flavor gave such a nice balance to the sweetness from the sugar, and the fruit pieces. I didn't have any cashews so I used sliced almonds. Can't wait have it for lunch again ..."

"This was fantastic! The bread is moist and not overly sweet, and smells SOOOOO good baking! It may have just been my oven, but I had to bake it for about an hour and 20 minutes to get the middle done. I was afraid the outside would be hard and and overcooked, but it was perfect. Can't wait to make this again!!"

    Reviewed Lemon Bars

     |  By Dib's

"This is a great lemon bar recipe! I like that the crust is a bit thicker than some others I've tried. Like other reviewers suggested, I added a bit more lemon juice than the recipe called for, and it came out with the perfect blend of sweet and tangy. I even overbaked it by accident and was worried it would be ruined, but aside from the top bei..."

"I've made this so many times, I should have reviewed it a long time ago! Perfect soup for a chilly autumn day and so easy. I usually leave out the celery (DH HATES celery! and I usually add a drop or two of tabasco sauce and extra black pepper just to give it some punch. This one's a keeper!!"

"This is a great chicken rub! I've used it a couple of times with just a few modifications. I melted a little butter (maybe 2 tbl and drizzled it under skin and also on top of the skin before adding the rub - also under and over the skin. I did decrease the salt to 2 TBL, just a personal preference. I then cooked the whole chicken in my crock ..."

"Fantastic! I made this as written, but baked it in a 9" springform pan. It made a beautiful presentation, and the glaze drizzled on top gave it that extra YUM! Thanks :"

Reviewed Lemon Cake With Lemon Filling and Lemon Butter Frosting

"This made a really good cake! After reading the recipe carefully, and some of the other reviews, I also added about a TBL lemon zest and 3-4 TBL lemon juice to the batter to make it a real lemon cake (and used a little less milk. I skipped the filling and just used extra lemon frosting in between the layers. I also doubled the recipe so I coul..."

"Just made these for Christmas Eve, and they were WONDERFUL! I didn't want to take the time to make cut out cookies and these were quick, the dough was easy to work with, and they tasted delicious! I rolled into balls that were a little larger than walnuts and then coated in white sugar and sprinkles. The spread out nicely, but not too thin. Th..."
