    New Topic Question:Delicious- Cranberry-Pineapple- Sauce in Cooking Q & A

"Delicious Cranberry-Pineapple Sauce How long will this sauce last in the refrigerator before Thanksgiving? I know it will be all gone by Thanksgiving's Eve, but need to make it in advance because of the quantity of food I'm preparing. Would it be okay to make it..."

    About Me

German mid-century immigrant, living in Sierra Foothill community. Love to cook, sew, garden, family gatherings, hiking, and a good beer. Most of my recipes come from my maternal grandmother, Oma Marie-Luise, who was the chef in our family-run Gasthaus. Her recipes were done "over the thumb" -- no specific measurements given, just an ingredient list/quatities that she had in her notebook, which she took to market.  Have transcribed most of them into English-equivalents.  Also had a wonderful Puebla-TexMex Aunt, who passed along some of her recipes... again, all by ingredient lists and memory of how her mom made things.  I am a lucky gal to live in America.
