"I made this with "from scratch" chocolate pudding because I cannot abide that chemical taste of the instant pudding, and I made my whipped cream fresh, and it was delicious albeit very sweet. Everyone loved it."

"I saw no shortbread recipe, just instructions to use dough. What shortbread recipe is recommended? Kind of cheating to call this a recipe, no? Cannot really give it a rating as is."

"This was really good. In fact, I would say it was everything I want in a bean recipe. I didn't have any Mexican dark beer, but I used a bottle of Sierra Nevada Torpedo and could probably have used any beer. Very well-rounded flavor and the bacon was a perfect smokey touch. Thanks!"

"I made this tonight and I had to sit down and write a review immediately! This was a lovely combination of flavors, the creamy bleu cheese balanced the sweet of the pineapple and the crunch of the cabbage. I had fresh pineapple, so I used that instead of canned and skipped the pineapple juice as it was juicy enough on its own. Other than that, di..."

"This is an excellent Key Lime Pie. (FYI:It took me 2 pounds of Key Limes to make 1 cup of juice. The sour cream topping is so much better than meringue or whipped cream. I didn't use the crust recipe, I love the combination of ginger and lime so I made a gingersnap crust instead of graham crackers which was very good. I will make this again and a..."

"I have to disagree with others, the low-fat version definitely does NOT taste as good as the full-fat version. It has an unpleasant aftertaste (presumably from the chemicals they use to stabilize the low-fat mayo and the texture of the dip is too runny. I will not be making it again."

"We've been making this one for years and everyone loves it. Fresh garlic (2-4 cloves minced is soooo much better than the garlic powder, and paprika doesn't really add much except for garnish. Garnish it with lots of chopped fresh parsley and it kicks it up to another level. I often add fresh herbs from my garden (savory, thyme, marjoram, etc. b..."

"This was a great basic fish chowder. The first time I made it I found it thin and watery and then, whilst cleaning up, I found I had not added the tinned milk! Also, I didn't have clam broth and used the water. Now that I have made it again, I would recommend using the clam broth and not forgetting the tinned milk. I used fresh savory from my gard..."

"This was a great recipe for a meal in a hurry. The texture of the filling reminded me of something with cream cheese in it...mmm. I followed the recipe exactly, and I didn't think the mayo added a wierd taste at all. I do think I will use Italian sausage instead of ground beef next time as the filling was a little mild for our tastes, but I WILL m..."

"Very easy to make, lovely texture but a bit bland. It needed a bit more lemon. Salt and cayenne pepper (to taste was perfect seasoning. We had it over broccoli and it just disappeared!"
