"Loved this recipe. I did change it a bit to reflect what I had on hand and personal preferences. I used one Fresno pepper instead of green chilies, coconut oil instead of vegetable oil, and turkey broth instead of vegetable broth. I also added leftover chunks of turkey from another meal. I'm married and have one little boy with a fairly adventurous palate. I do some photography and blogging but most of my time is about taking care of my family. I make nearly all our food from scratch because it's the only way to eat truly nourishing food, especially on a budget. I also garden, and have been working on my food preservation skills, including drying, fermenting and a bit of canning. I love hiking but barely find the time these days!
Rich hot chocolate made with REAL whole milk, tender pot roast, amazing salads, bacon wrapped dates, good steak, roast chicken, butternut squash soup, fresh from the garden tomatoes, beets sauteed in butter, butter, fresh raw whole guernsey milk, my homemade Italian meat sauce, tacos, guacamole, pastured chicken eggs over easy, pumpkin bread, homemade ice cream, chocolate fudge, kombucha.
Favorite dish to cook: Pot roast
Dish I am famous for: Chocolate chip pumpkin bread, chocolate fudge
Favorite restaurant: Tasty n Sons
