I live in a small town in Arizona. I'm an OB nurse and love what I do. I have 9 children of my own and they are my pride & joy, along with my 21 grandchildren. For fun I have all my children and grandchildren over every Sunday evening for dinner and try out on them the recipes I've found here. I had gastric bypass 5 months ago and found this web site by typing in "high-protein recipes" on askjeeves.com. I've never needed to go to any other source to find recipes since. If I had a month off of work with no responsibilities, I'd travel everywhere I could to see as much as I could and to try out different cuisines, even though I can't eat much at a time.
I love to try new foods, but must make sure I get enough protein. Mexican is my overall favorite, and our small local Mexican restaurant, "El Charo," outdoes those in the big cities. Olive Garden is my next favorite, so I appreciate all those "just-like Olive Garden" recipes posted here.
