Reviewed Really Really Good Candied Sweet Potatoes

"This is my 3rd year making these for Thanksgiving and I must say, these are AMAZING. I make extra, just so I can have the left overs. I will just warm myself up a big bowl of them until they are gone. I doubled the recipe this year and added marshmallows. These are just SO good. Until I made these, I'd never had homemade sweet potatoes, and I am ne..."

    Reviewed Honey-Garlic Grilled Chicken

"I made this last weekend for my DH and my best friend. We all thought it was really good. My friend was a little late in coming over so the chicken sat and marinated for about an hour, Ooops! But, no big deal; it came out really moist and flavorful. It was too windy to grill that day, so I ended up baking it in the oven and broiling it for the last..."

New Topic Need help with an old (and very VAGUE) bread recipe in Breads & Baking

"Hi. I found an old bread recipe from my great grandmother in a book that my aunt gave me for Christmas. My mom used to rave over this bread she had as a child but she never had the recipe. Well, I have it now but it is extremely vague on ingredient amounts. Some amounts are given, some are given as a range (ie 1-2 cups) and some are not given at al..."

Shared Recipe Chocolate Chip Cookie in a Cup

"Found this on Pinterest. Really just wanted to work out the calories, but wanted to save on here. Super easy to make when you just HAVE to have something sweet, but don't want to go overboard."

    Reviewed Roasted New/ Fingerling Potatoes

"This recipe is awesome! I have made these several times using both fingerling and halved new red potatoes. I use 1 tsp of dried herbs instead of fresh, it's what I usually keep on hand. My DH begged me to make these last week and when grocery shopping this week we had to buy more potatoes just to make more. Thank you so much for posting!!"

    About Me

I'm a very busy newlywed, my hubby and I are together 24-7. I love to cook and try new recipes and my hubby loves trying everything out and giving feedback. I would have to say I bake better than I cook. I usually do pretty simple recipes when it comes to dinner. Lots of veggie side dishes!

    Favorite Foods

The hubby and I are HUGE sushi lovers, but I don't intend on trying that at home any time soon..at least with the raw fish anyways. We both love Italian food and anything fried. I know it's terrible for you...but it's so good! I'm not a beef/pork eater but the hubby will eat most anything. We both love anything with chocolate...yum!
