Reviewed Kittencal's Chicken Crescent Roll Casserole

"This is so good! But when I saw the chef, I knew that I really didn't need to try it before knowing it would be a great and great tasting recipe!! Once again, Hats off to Kittencal. Thanks for sharing it with us. I did add a small can of diced green chilies because my family thinks they go in everything...lol. But that didn't change the recipe much..."

    Shared Recipe Beef Noodle Casserole

"I found this in one of those little recipe books by the checkstand in a grocery store. It was a "Taste of Home" one. It sounded really good to me and I was hungry at the time...lol. So, I tried it. We liked it You could add whatever else you like to it and have it come out great. Cooking time does not include the time to cook the ground beef and n..."

    Shared Recipe Cabbage Roll Casserole

"I did a search on here and couldn't find one like mine so I decided to submit it. I thought I had found int on here but I must have gotten it from another place. It is a wonderful dish and although a shortcut type recipe, it still give you the flavor and comfort of vabbage rolls without all the extra work. I did tweak it from the original recipe, h..."

    Shared Recipe Huevos California-Style Wraps

"I found this on the back of an Ore-Ida Potatoes O'Brien pkg. We love this type of hasbrown because it has the onion and green pepper in with the frozen potatoes and we don't have to add them. I did add some diced green chilies (the smaller can, I think it was 3 oz. or something like that). It makes a really good breakfast and the kids can wrap the..."

"We found this recipe on the back of a Tillamook Medium Cheddar Cheese bag, the shredded variety. We loved it. It is a simple dish. We ate it with mashed potatoes, a salad and cooked carrots. But you can pair it with whatever yoiu like to please your family's own tastes. If you don't have TIllamook cheese in your area, just use your regular brand of..."

"Chimichurri Burrito Casserole This recipe sounds good. But, when I went shopping for the ingredients I did not already have on hand, I could not find the "Lawry's Chimichurri Seasoning." I asked the grocery manager if he could help me and he said they don't carry that an..."

    About Me

I am married, have three children and two grandchildren. My youngest "oops" baby is just turning 17 and is going to be a senior in high school in the fall.. I love to cook and collect recipes. I get a lot of my good recipes from church potlucks. Since I am now retired and a stay at home mom, I have time to search the RecipeZaar site and try a lot of the recipes. We love living on the coast and would never move back inland!

    Favorite Foods

I love fish, especially halibut. I also adore lasagna and most any comfort food. Sauerkraut and zucchini are also favoirtes in our house.Cooking is a passion of mine but with just three of us left at home, I still cook for an army. Guess I need to learn to cut down and cook smaller amounts so that we won't have so many huge batches of leftovers...lol. We like to go to salad bars and we especially love the ones at Sizzler and Izzy's. I also like to do vegetarian cooking and used to be a total vegetarian when I was younger. Now, we eat both meat and vegetarian food. Quite a few of the more recent recipes I have shared have been vegetarian.
