Reviewed Broccoli Cheese and Potato Soup

"This soup was delicious. I varied the recipe by using shallots in place of onions, some dried onions, garlic powder and hot paprika. I also used sharp cheddar and a 3 oz. package of cream cheese to make it creamier. I used red skin potatoes with skin left on. It turned out great! Next time, I will use extra sharp cheddar and maybe add some mus..."

    About Me

I live in Buckeye Country in Columbus, Ohio, home of THE Ohio State University. I am married, an office manager with a blended family of 7 children and 12 grandchildren. I am a Master Gardener and enjoy volunteering my time in the community. My favorite cookbooks are ones written by Pol Martin.

I will probably come to this site more often to find a good recipe than to post one. I don't like many cookbooks because the recipes are hit and miss. With this site, the stars and reviews have already done my work and all I have to do is pick one and know it will be delicious.

    Favorite Foods

I like to make desserts. Also, meat dishes. My favorite restaurants are usually Italian or Chinese. I also like Mexican.

I am famous for my apple pie and Mexican corn chowder; also seafood lasagna.
