    About Me

I live in Oakmont, about 15 minutes outside Pittsburgh, PA. I'm a free lance food writer, have written a cooking column for Gateway Press in Monroeville since 1986, taught classes in cooking, cake decorating and bread making...collect cookbooks (have a lot, lost count...)

    Favorite Foods

I love to bake bread and cookies, favorite foods are anything Oriental. Our favorite restaurant is Hoffstot's in Oakmont. I'm known for my cheesecakes and a few other things, like Granny's Frito Salad, the recipe was given to me by a friend years ago, and is always requested by family and friends.
