"this was really quite good, and you're right, it goes with pork most excellently. my sweet Wife can't do walnuts, so i used sliced almonds instead and it was still wonderful. i served this as a bed for Denise!'s Spicy Baked Pork Steaks [Recipe #26322], and it was the perfect accompaniment. thank you for sharing it."

"this was a breeze to make, and came out with a consistency and velvety texture, which far surpasses any bread i've ever made! i'll add more potato flakes next time, just cuz i love potatoes. this was excellent, and i'll make it with pure confidence every time, and that will be often. steven."

"this was a first for me. i'm really glad there was a photo, because i didn't even know what this was supposed to look/taste like! my Lady says it was marvellous, and [other than my using unbleached, stone ground wheat flour for the dumplings] tasted just like She remembered from Her mother! :D so it gets 2 votes for 5 stars. it was a lot more..."

"this is a totally wonderful cornbread! i'm not accustomed to this type of bread, as it seems to be a strictly Americas thing [they make it in Mexico, Central, and South America, too!], and the other cornbreads we've tried just didn't do it for me. this is the best cornbread i've ever tasted! the creamed corn is what made it special, i think. w..."
