"This recipe sounds very similar to the one my mother used to make --- which was the best --- and her recipe is the only one I will make now. And I have tried many over the many years. After you add the catsup to the top ... she often placed a couple slices of bacon on the top...not too much or you'll have too much grease. Also try adding ..."

"Would also recommend using some seasoning on the chicken. I never used liquid smoke before...assumed it's flavoring would take care of it. I have a small crock pot...within 2 hours the meat was falling off the bones. Was left with pieces which i could have used for barbeque sandwiches. Without seasoning first I thought it was bland tasting. "

They were cubed small enough..so I don't know why they behaved like they did ! Anyone trying this recipe..I would suggest NOT using a white potato and if you do>>test potato for donen..."
