"Delicious....one of my guests thought they were a little bland and needed pepping up a bit. Maybe a dipping sauce like your first reviewer suggested?
Edited...I've made these a few times now and they always come out well. I recently didn't have the ingredients to make a tomato based dipping sauce, so I used a jar of Roasted Pepper Pesto which..."

"Excellent! Made with frozen strawberries, but made sure to only put the fruit in after they defrosted not all the juice that is created. Had a bit of trouble getting it to blend. I started it off with my hand mixer, but it just split, so I put it in the blender, but think there was too much and took out half and did it in two batches. With hinds..."

"I couldn't get any tahini so I had to leave it out and I subbed toasted sesame oil for the olive oil in the hope of caputuring some of the flavour of the tahini. Loved the flavour of this....the only reason it's got three stars is because I found the texture to be too "loose", would have liked it to be a bit thicker. Don't know whether the tahin..."

I filled it with raspberry jam and fresh whipped cream. Thanks FT. BTW, the tip about weighing the eggs etc, is great, and one I will remember."

(i was a little worried about adding the milk after the dry ingredients, in my experience it's usually the dry ingredients that go in last, but it wor..."

"Real comfort food! Just a thought for those of you making this lovely snack. It's also very good if you spread the toast with some cheese spread, or a slice of processed cheese. You can also sprinkle on some grated cheese before you spoon on the beans. Always under the beans so the cheese goes nice and gooey!"

"I've been making Delia Smith's recipe for a while now, so it's nice to see it posted here. It's my shortbread of preference! Thanks for posting it."

"Excellent, very tasty....I've posted a picture, but they don't look as elegant as Sackville's. I had a little trouble shaping them, but i wonder if that's because I mixed them by hand. A processor does a much better job."

"I wasn't sure if these were supposed to have sugar in them or if they were supposed to be a savoury muffin. Anyway, I added a bit of sugar (sorry I didn't measure it I only had a little bit of peanut butter which I eked out so they should have had more. When I ran out of peanut butter I used lemon curd, and both were really nice....I'll make them..."
