    New Topic A makeover for my XMAS day menu in Menu Ideas & Help

    I have to make some of the traditional things or there is a riot. ( These will be bolded). I am not sure I am happy with the menu though .... so give me some feedback or any changes.

    "Some out of town relatives will be visiting for the holidays. I am having dinner for some of the visitors on Wednesday night ( to give the hostess for T-Day - a chance to take care of stuff without company around )

    Because on of my "signature" dishes is BBQ Beef - and it is my BIL's favorite - I'm having that ... but feeling uninspired with the ..."

    My favorite all time cookbook is the Betty Crocker special edition Best of the Community cookbooks.

    I have 2 sons 5 and 7 who keep me busy. I am an avid reader and read 2 books a week covering a wide range of authors and subjects.

    I am learning to play piano and enjoy scrapbooking.

    Favorite Foods

    I love to cook and I am constantly looking for new recipes. I am not a fancy cook - but my claim to fame is BBQ/Slaw and cornbread. Unfortunately I know have to bring this to every family gathering......
