    "My XMAS present was the Kitchen Aid Pasta roller and cutters. I tried it out today and it worked really well. The dough handled well and the texture was great .... BUT the pasta was very very bland.

    I used the recipe in the manual - so I probably need to branch out a bit. I salted the pasta water with 2 teaspoons of salt - but maybe I needed ..."

    I work for a large healthcare system in RI - managing financial systems.

    My favorite all time cookbook is the Betty Crocker special edition Best of the Community cookbooks.

    I have 2 sons 5 and 7 who keep me busy. I am an avid reader and read 2 books a week covering a wide range of authors and subjects.

    I am learning to play piano and enjoy scrapbooking.

    Favorite Foods

    I love to cook and I am constantly looking for new recipes. I am not a fancy cook - but my claim to fame is BBQ/Slaw and cornbread. Unfortunately I know have to bring this to every family gathering......
