I live in a small logging town nestled in the beautiful Cascade foothills of Washington state. I have two dogs, Monny and Miss B, and a precious little daughter born at home on 10/04/05. We own and operate the Burger Barn restaurant, but in my free time I enjoy trying new recipes, especially Thai and Middle Eastern dishes.
My other likes include gardening, dancing on stage, campfire sing-a-longs, people who have tattoos, twirling fire poi, pitbulls, swimming in cold clean river water, sewing, multiple personalities, conjoined twins, circus sports and ...yeah. Lots of stuff.
One of my favorite things to eat is fresh spring rolls, but I've not yet mastered making them. I make killer meatloaf, fried taters, chili and clam chowder. I burn things alot because I get impatient and turn the burners up too high. I made really good red curry the other day. My husband prefers more traditional American fare. Aenea will try anything, even spicy, but she usually spits it out! My favorite restaurants are Red Robin and The Melting Pot. I love cheese! I like tater tots better than french fries. I never eat store bought eggs.
