    "I used 5 apples, different varieties, halved the remaining filling ingredients, and baked in a pie plate (only 3 of us, using the whole recipe for the topping. I baked it Thanksgiving morning, then heated it up in individual bowls after dinner. Very, very good! I will probably add a little nutmeg and maybe some cloves next time."
