"I had to cut the amounts WAY BACK as it's just my hub and I - I have pot roasts cut in very small pieces and use a mini crockpot - but it was delicious. In fact, my husband raved and said DON'T CHANGE A THING WITH THIS POT ROAST! When I told him I was writing this review and asked how many stars out of five, he said 7. Thank you for perking up..."

"I think this is very close to the one my former MIL made. I think she sliced pound cake very thinly rather than make more cakes. It was my favorite birthday cake for quite sometime. I may try this."

"This is delicious! I am making my second large batch. It does indeed can, but you MUST always PRESSURE CAN! Open water bath is not safe for much of anything anymore unless it has a very high acid content which this does not. Neither will a pressure cooker do it, it must be a pressure CANNER. Can your pints for 75 minutes and your quarts for 90..."

"this stuff is yummy. We used to make it for our annual 4th of July party. We made it in a sanitized fish tank. I also put some fresh or canned pineapple through the blender and put that in to increase the murky "swampwater" look. You can also add some ginger ale and vodka to make it different. KEEP THE KIDS AWAY...THIS TASTES SO GOOD THEY WOULD LO..."
