"This recipe was so nice and easy to use . I did , however , use shredded leftover pot roast instead of ground beef and added a can of diced green chili's to the beef mixture. These tasted really authentic , and I served it with a home made Spanish rice ( steamed rice , put in a skillet with a little olive oil and a half cup of my favorite bottled..."

I have made it a few times now , I think I prefer to use the crescents instead of the biscuits , and for the water I use OJ , heat the sugar OJ and butter in a pan to boiling, then turn off the heat before adding the vanilla , bake as in step 5.
